I’m taking a little break from my travel posts tonight because (1) I’m FINALLY through everything I wanted to share about Morocco (yay) and (2) I feel like I’m falling behind in sharing other stuff that’s been going on since I’ve come back home. Like birthdays, trying new restaurants and recipes, finding furniture for my condo, cottage trips, and of course the Pan Am games and all the festivities that are happening in and around Toronto right now! That includes the Death from Above 1979 concert I went to last weekend… but only because I’d randomly passed by Nathan Philips Square one morning and saw their crew setting up in the square. Always something going on in this city.
Anyway, free concert! More pics below.
The morning discovery that lead to fun concert times later that day.
I almost went to see DFA at Riot Fest last fall, but I ended up being out of town that weekend. So this was my first time watching them live. They were pretty entertaining! The whole free thing was also nice.
And then there were fireworks to celebrate another day of competitions at the games.
Kinda looks like city hall is on fire, no? Not unlike the CN Tower earlier that week (ha ha).
Lookin’ good, Toronto. Lookin’ good.
