Sorry for the absence friends! If any of you follow me on Instagram you may already know that I just finished a big move into my very own condo this past weekend. So I’m a real adult now! It’s been pretty busy since then, what with all the packing and unpacking, organizing all my stuff, cleaning everything once it’s been unpacked, figuring out things like property taxes and what I still need for my place. Note to self: I can’t believe I still need SO MANY THINGS. Gah.
Some of the highlights of the past week include window shopping for some new furniture, buying a vacuum cleaner (well, a little one) for the first time, discovering that I can move my TV table just so to be able to play games from my bed, silly un-birthday shenaningans with friends, getting cute little housewarming gifts, and realizing it IS possible to live without Internet for a week. Home ownership and adulthood in general is, TBH, not very exciting stuff. 🙂
At any rate, I’m feeling pretty excited and happy! So I think it’s high time I shared a post of things that have been making me happy lately. So here they are.
I should be saving $$$ because I have a mortgage now and stuff, but… new leggings! So colourful. Many stripe. Such wow.
A friend of mine was visiting from Winnipeg on the weekend and had never experienced anything Momofuku. I’m not a huge fan of the noodle bar, but the Milk Bar desserts (located upstairs) are the bomb. I sent her home with a box of Bday Cake Truffles because they are the best thing ever.
And in other happy-making news, I’m going to Morocco and Spain next month! Flights to Casablanca and home from Barcelona have been booked and I couldn’t be more excited to be out exploring again.
